The Manager, Design & Brand Strategy is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of creative design, production, execution and brand strategy integration to deliver innovative and compelling visual and conceptual solutions that meet Gravity Haus’ goals and objectives. The Manager, Design & Brand Strategy will play a critical role in maintaining the brand's creative direction and ensuring its consistent representation across all mediums, including, but not limited to: website, print, digital media, advertisements, retail, and brand partnerships.

What You’ll Do:Creative Leadership:

Execute all aspects of design, copywriting, artist, and other creative outlets for all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.

  • Be the subject matter expert on creative/brand and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to provide recommendations and execute the creative vision and direction for projects, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the Gravity Haus team.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, marketing and sales departments in developing brand strategy plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities to align creative strategies with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute design strategies that enhance brand identity and drive engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform creative decision-making.

Project Management:

  • Execute multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Establish project workflows and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies and freelancers when necessary.
  • Prioritize work and resources across creative projects, based on short/long term needs, and develop planning schedules through collaboration with sales & marketing team, designers, copywriters, and key stakeholders.
  • Manages creative project requests and prioritizes workflows and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Sales & Marketing to execute against brand strategy, manage creative budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and projects are delivered within budget.
  • Establish brand books/standards and creative files for retail to have a “library” that can be used for ordering purposes on a seasonal basis. Curate on-brand and consistent messaging and appearance across retail locations and the organization.

Brand Development:

  • Maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all creative materials.
  • Consistently deliver creative excellence.
  • Ensure that all creative assets adhere to brand standards and communicate the brand's values effectively–both internally and externally.
  • Conduct regular brand audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Department Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with departments to understand their creative needs, objectives, and feedback.
  • Lead with confidence and data when executing design elements and brand-strategy overviews.
  • Present creative concepts and ideas to departments, incorporating their input and feedback into the final deliverables.
  • Build and nurture strong cross-functional relationships.

Creative Production:

  • Execute the brand-strategy through creative production and guidance for the development of visual assets, including graphics, videos, advertisements, and marketing collateral.
  • Produce creative work that aligns with the established creative vision and brand standards.
  • Lead the creative production process to maintain quality control.
  • Present final concepts and obtain approvals for deliverables.
  • Lead and plan photoshoots for events, sales, retail, throughout properties and our food outlets to ensure our content is up to date and consistent look and feel, while following the story of the company.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and implement systems/platforms that create efficiencies, enhanced consumer experiences and drive brand continuity across all mediums.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative design, brand development, and project management
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required for event setups or material handling
  • Must be able to travel occasionally for photoshoots or meetings, as needed
