Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering and technician staff to successfully complete projects.
  • Coordination: Oversee structural design scope, coordinating in-house and with other consultants.
  • Planning and Budgeting: Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff, assisting with their career development.
  • Representation: Attend project meetings and represent Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers during design and construction.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum.
  • Experience: 9 years progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year).
  • Leadership: Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's future.

  • Project Experience: Has designed numerous projects and followed them through from start of design to end of construction.
