Logistics Specialist

Location: Alameda, CA

Salary: $30 – 32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve issues.
  • Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide support to other areas of the operations team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in BioTech space.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
