 Essential Duties include the following:

  • Process wholesale titles
  • Check in incoming used titles
  • Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
  • Prepares tax and title documents
  • Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
  • Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles
  • Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
  • Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday
  • Other duties may be assigned

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior dealership or BMV experience preferred
  • STRONG administrative skills
  • EXCELLENT customer service and problem-solving skills
  • ORGANIZED
  • Office skills including personal computer, Microsoft products (Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook), 10-key and the ability to accurately operate other office equipment
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
  • Data entry skills
