What's the job all about?

  • Key Account Manager support- contacting customers, web-based presentations
  • Distributor Support: Providing appropriate sales and marketing as directed
  • Assist in Organizing Scientific Seminars at Key Accounts
  • Nurturing Targeted Accounts: Contacting past customers who no longer purchase and existing customers to educate and gauge interest in ancillary products
  • Prospecting: Identify new customers by performing web searchers, reviewing scientific papers, sending emails and coordinating surveys and market research
  • Lead Qualification: Follow up on conference leads, web inquiries and inbound sales calls. This involves educating customers and qualifying potential new accounts
  • Database Management: Work within multiple product and customer information databases to maintain customer interaction history and monitor product performance
  • Assist in the coordination of North American Events: Conferences, Seminars etc.
  • Present periodic reports on inside sales activities - responsible for identifying what is effective and what needs to be optimized to achieve an impact
  • Develop Targeted Campaigns to increase revenues in non-direct territories
  • Interaction with interdepartmental groups within the organization, as well as the national sales & marketing team
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments, as well as independently, while understanding the necessity for communicating and collaborating work efforts with other team members
  • May be required to work overtime occasionally, as well as other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences preferred; consideration given for years of related experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales/marketing experience in Life Science Industry
  • Knowledge of epigenetics, and ChIP-seq is a plus
  • Competency with a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Teams and adaptable to new software

  • Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team

*The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The salary range represents Active Motif's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of the posting. Certain positions may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission, bonus, and stock options. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
