Cinergy seeks an experienced and energetic event planning sales manager to join our team and drive sales for our center. In this role, you will be responsible for revenue production through inbound and outbound sales efforts. Our ideal candidate will strive to meet and exceed planned revenue objectives while nurturing new and existing accounts.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Initiates Sales Process: Schedule appointments, make presentations, conduct tours, and understand guest needs to create memorable events.
  • Close Sales: Build rapport with guests, thoroughly explain product and service capabilities, problem-solve to overcome objections, and execute detailed contracts.
  • Community Networking: Attend local events and mixers to generate new business and foster relationships through active networking.
  • Database Development: Maintain a current database and increase contacts in corporate, schools, military, educational, religious, and fraternal groups to increase business and social events.
  • Sales Strategy: Suggest sales ideas specific to locations to build the client base and increase the frequency of booked events
  • Coordination: Coordinate sales efforts under the guidance of the National Director. Individuals must be detail-oriented and understand the event process to ensure the seamless execution of events.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience, preferably as a supervisor or manager in a hospitality setting
  • Experience in selling SMERF and corporate.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for sales with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow.
  • Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed based on event needs.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required for this role
