What You Will Do: As a Graduate Engineer, you will

  • Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as; City, County and TXDOT
  • Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
  • You will learn the industry by attending client meetings and taking meeting minutes.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
  • Seeking 1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred.
  • You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
