We are looking for a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes by handling and moving materials, maintaining inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently move materials and products throughout the warehouse and production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels, including conducting regular counts, updating records, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trucks, verify the accuracy of shipments, and ensure proper documentation is completed for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment according to order specifications.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to maintain an organized and efficient work environment and assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Certification to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
