Job DescriptionJob Description

Anchor Talent has partnered with a global company in North Dallas to identify a Sourcing Manager that will be responsible for regional supply chain development and execution of sourcing strategies of raw materials and components. This role will require a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, analytical, understand market trends and supplier landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess current and future suppliers
  • Develop supplier relationships to ensure reliable sources of materials, manufactured, resale and services
  • Consistently assess supplier performance and drive continuous improvement plans or activities
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
  • Implement and manage purchase orders for lead time to ensure materials are secured and available
  • Evaluate business process improvement measures and formulate root cause and corrective action plans to address systematic issues as it relates to supplier performance and quality
  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, material pricing, and new technologies
  • Manage emergency stock and be able to expedite orders while maintaining lead times
  • Travel 25% nationally

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Experience with contract management, risk assessment and supplier performance evaluation
