Position Summary: Assists very low/low/moderate income, unemployed and underemployed Central Falls residents and those seeking a better job to develop and implement “Career Pathway Plans” that identify individualized employment goals and strategies, job training needs, and steps to overcome barriers to employment.  Utilizes the research-based Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPATH) model in providing one-on-one support for program participants to help them improve their financial standing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish verbal and written required.
  • Central Falls resident preferred
  • Experience with workforce development, job trainings programs, job placement programs, etc. preferred
  • Possession of valid drivers’ license, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to take initiative required.
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
     

Physical Requirements: 

  • This position requires a mix of at-home/virtual, office-based, and community visit work. 
  • Employees in this position must have the ability to travel to and from office sites and community locations which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
