Established in 1997 Metro Electric Engineering Technologies is a family-owned and operated electrical contracting business performing electrical construction services in southern Michigan for the commercial and industrial industries, along with service work in residential communities.  Metro Electric takes pride in employing high-quality individuals. Our team provides quality workmanship with exceptional service, honesty, and integrity. We are looking for a Generac-certified Generator Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Generac generators
  • Effectively communicate with a customer, in regard to the repair needs, cost of repairs, and timing

Requirements:

  • Obtain/Maintain Generac Certification (not required to be hired)
  • Generac generator installation and repair experience PREFERRED; will also consider small engine repair experience in lieu of generator experience)
  • Fantastic customer service skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record
