Job Summary:

The In-Room Dining Attendant at Hotel Effie plays a key role in delivering exceptional, luxury service directly to guests' rooms. You will be responsible for providing prompt, professional, and personalized service, ensuring every order meets the hotel's high standards. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, service-driven, and passionate about creating an unforgettable guest experience. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, teamwork, and a warm, welcoming demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-room dining orders efficiently and with impeccable presentation, ensuring all items are accurate and meet guest requests.
  • Set up and arrange dining tables in guest rooms or suites with proper linens, silverware, and other essentials.
  • Provide prompt and friendly service, interacting with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor and ensure all in-room dining orders are delivered within the established timeframes.
  • Handle special requests and dietary needs with care and attention.
  • Collect trays and dishware from guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness in guest hallways and service areas.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate guest feedback and preferences to the kitchen and other team members to continuously improve service.
  • Assist with restocking supplies and keeping the in-room dining station organized and ready for service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in room service, hospitality, or a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and ability to maintain the highest standards of guest service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods, often carrying trays with food and beverages.
  • Lift and carry trays, dishware, and equipment (up to 30 lbs.) regularly throughout shifts.
  • Ability to push carts weighing up to 50 lbs. and maneuver them through tight spaces and guest rooms.
  • Perform repetitive motions, including bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Navigate guest hallways and rooms, including ascending/descending stairs as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in room service, hospitality, or a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
