   Baily International of Atlanta is in search of a self-directed, hands-on and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to be responsible for all facets of Payables for the company. As the Accounts Payable Associate , you will be perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data as well as reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted. An effective Accounts Payable Associate has knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. You must be organized, professional, and with a great eye for detail. You must be reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.

Responsibilities


  • Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting etc.)
  • Reconcile bank statements and payment records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
  • Manage journal entries, invoices etc.; review payroll report, and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual closing
  • Code invoices and accounts, reconciles and researches customer information, and processes account transactions to ensure quality output and timely invoice payments.
  • Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
  • Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
  • Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Apply/Renew Business licenses annually

Qualifications


  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting (QuickBooks Online)
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • BS/BA in accounting or relevant field is preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting position.
