Vice President of Marketing

SecureW2 is a SaaS Cybersecurity company pioneering the development of certificate-driven enterprise security. We specialize in passwordless security for wired, wireless, VPN, and ZTNA, and application security, ensuring an organization is protected from credential and data theft.
Our clientele ranges from Peloton, Symantec, STMicroelectronics, The Pokemon Company, Glassdoor, American Red Cross, Freshworks, Harvard University, and rapidly growing organizations across the globe.
What do we look for
We are looking for a motivated VP of Marketing to join our executive team and lead our marketing efforts through this next phase of rapid growth. This is a key role that requires a balance of strategy and execution, deep understanding of our customers, and a passion for experimenting with new, cost-effective customer acquisition programs. Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to have significant impact and responsibility, is data-driven, and isn’t afraid to be hands-on in the process.
SecureW2 has grown tremendously leveraging SEO as our primary marketing strategy. For our next phase of growth, we are looking for a marketing leader that can successfully expand our customer acquisition channels to include paid ads, targeted outbound, and channel/MSP sales in addition to enhancing our product marketing and customer messaging and building a foundation of PR and AR.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy across all channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Lead and expand the marketing team, hire and mentor top talent passionate about driving the business, and eager to build.
- Deeply understand the customer, their business needs, and the “why” behind their decisions to purchase, deploy, and renew SecureW2 products; and ensure this is reflected in our messaging and product positioning.
- Take our customer acquisition efforts to the next level via rapid experimentation, rigorous data analysis, and doubling down on programs that work.
- Own all marketing demand channels and allocate headcount and funding where needed across SEO, paid acquisition (ads, review sites, etc.), outbound, ABM, etc.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure product messaging is compelling and clearly communicated our value proposition across segments
- Oversee a thoughtful and targeted PR and AR program
- Build field marketing and channel marketing in-line with our business growth
- Develop and be accountable for appropriate marketing KPIs across pipeline generation, customer engagement, and marketing reach.
- Own and efficiently manage all aspects of the marketing budget

Job requirements
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with previous Director or VP-level experience
- 4+ years of leadership experience, with strong ability to hire top talent
- Deep acumen in modern demand generation, with good understanding of Product Marketing and other marketing disciplines
- Curious, eager to experiment, but grounded in data and fact based decision making
- Self-starter who is comfortable hiring & leading teams, but also can roll-up their sleeves and get things done themselves
- Obsessive attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience at an early stage, fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Cybersecurity or Network security domain experience
