Marketing and Communications Associate

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Associate
This position is responsible for supporting all B2B marketing activities by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; planning and executing trade show efforts; maintaining promotional materials inventory; managing work flow and deadlines for marketing assets; owning social strategy and external PR communications.
Organizational Relationships:
Reports to: Director Of Product Development + Marketing
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Director of PD + Marketing and supporting the PD + marketing team with all marketing activities.
- Contributes to brand strategy and positioning and develops original campaign concepts that will help generate revenue, industry buzz and interest in CSIL.
- Oversees trade show execution and works together with Sales on follow up coordination.
- Plans strategic campaigns, events and disruptive activities to target and attract Ideal Personas.
- Creates impactful digital communication with clear messaging and compelling CTAs (email, communications, marketing automation, social media).
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales, industry and trend data.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing
orders; verifying receipt.
- Defines, manages and executes an integrated social media strategy for select social networks with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Manage and develop relevant content and copy for social media platforms, email marketing, newsletters, promotional
materials, and website, including product descriptions.
- Plan and execute all web, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Provides
recommendations to maximize ROI from digital marketing efforts.
- Analyze site usage, traffic patterns and industry trends to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and
conversion rates.
- Conduct market research to proactively identify opportunities for partnerships, awareness, engagement and conversion
improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging for all marketing driven collateral.
- Collaborates closely with Product Development to ensure product-related messaging is accurate and precise.
- Plan, organize and execute company booth at various trade shows and events.
- Own and drive promotional planning for upcoming events and trade shows.
- Manage public relations activities to promote CSIL B2B.
- Oversees social media campaigns to raise brand awareness B2B.
- Performs any other duties or tasks that may be required of you by the company.
- Promotes and demonstrates behavior consistent with the company’s core values and policies.
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.), preferably in marketing, from four-year college or university.
- 2+ years Marketing, Communications and PR experience, beauty and/or wellness a plus.
- A Strong eye for graphic design, written copy, marketing collateral and digital content.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience leading LinkedIn marketing campaigns strongly desired.
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a changing/evolving environment.
- Exceptional writing, presentation, organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to project professionalism and understanding in all customer-facing situations.
- High energy, enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude in the face of challenges.
- Experience working with leading beauty industry publications, trade shows, etc.
- Experienced in 3rd party social media platforms including: Hootsuite.
- Experience with Website Analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with Pay Per Click (PPC) and Google AdWords, a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking and project management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, a plus.
- Experience working within Canva Pro is highly preferred.
