Responsibilities:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Server Administration: Manage and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This includes Windows and Linux-based servers.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's network against unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of networking hardware, software, and services.
  • Technology Research and Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate new networking technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the company's network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
  • Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco networking equipment.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
