Aladdin Temp-Rite is seeking 3rd shift career minded professionals with a mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of hand tools, fasteners and moving mechanical parts to join their team as a Mold Setter in the Hendersonville, TN

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Performs mold and die changeovers with supervision and guidance of Process Technician. Must have a thorough understanding of molds and dies and the damage which can occur from improper handling.
  • Responsible for machine process startups, control, and adjustments under guidance of Process Technician.
  • Performs part assembly, pack out or housekeeping when regular duties are not needed.
  • Upon completion of training, changeovers and startups will be expected to be performed without assistance from others. At this point, the mold setter may be responsible for training others in the same occupational title as needed.
  • Work with Process Tech to perform preventive maintenance tasks on Injection machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards. Will learn to use gauges and other measuring devices or instruments to keep the equipment running in accordance with acceptable quality standards.
  • Responsible for accurate counts of production records, safety and housekeeping in work area.
  • Must be able to read and understand simple prints/drawings pertaining to finished products.
  • Supply appropriate hand tools for the job. Tool allowance provided.
