Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the on-boarding and training of new employees
- Guide employees through LMS training on Cornerstone system
- Facilitate Performance Management and Performance Appraisal
- Communicate with management on safety needs and team development
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
- Assist management with the implementing and enforcing company culture, values and policies
- Initiate programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
- Facilitate and create training programs where necessary or lacking
- Manage employee grievances, conflicts, and ensuring a healthy work environment, with an emphasis on documentation
- Previous experience in Human Resources, training and development, or other related fields
- Knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, mobile apps, apple and pc computers
- Someone who demonstrates an innate desire to learn how things work and how things can be improved
- Energized by high change environments and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Someone who can demonstrate the likeness of a teams coach
- Demonstrates strong judgment and proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions
- Previous experience in mitigation or construction industry preferred
- BS or BA in Human resource Management or business preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Between $22 and $25/hour dependent on prior experience and ability to learn and grow quickly
