Job Summary:

The Shipping Compliance Specialist is responsible for sending out notifications to gaming officials and keeping an up-to-date record of all shipments and shipping requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Check, coordinate, and notify regulatory authorities and labs, of shipment of orders for Bluberi gaming and/or systems products and associated equipment
  • Coordinate with Ops Support & Production on shipment dispositions, approval status, and related documentation necessary to approve products for shipment
  • Ensure timely reporting of product shipment to various regulatory agencies
  • Provide detailed communication to ensure proper and timely notifications, updates, and approvals are in process or received
  • Apply and share thorough knowledge of gaming regulations, markets, and compliance rules and requirements throughout company’s departments
  • Obtaining and maintaining up to date and accurate list of required regulatory contacts
  • Report and escalate any discrepancies, changes, and/or problems for resolution to Shipping Compliance Lead
  • Work with the Certification Teams on product information, approval status, and related documentation necessary to approve products for shipment
  • Communicate with the warehouse teams on shipments that leave the building and provide all the necessary documentation and travel permits on a timely basis
  • Other projects as assigned by Shipping Compliance Lead

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree preferred or experience in lieu
  • 3+ years’ experience in a regulatory environment in the same or similar position, required
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated error-free work habits
  • High level of computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • In depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements, including both Class II and Class III casinos
  • Able to multi-task and complete assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Able to troubleshoot difficult to complex issues
  • Possess good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – be able to communicate instructions, concerns, findings, etc. clearly
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, and sit
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to use a computer for long periods of time
