Job Summary:
The Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving Clerk ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Receives and verifies counts of incoming parts from vendors. Put parts away in designated inventory locations. Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
  • Prepares shipments by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents weights and dimensions for shipments
  • Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
  • Performs cycle counting to ensure inventory is accurate and reports discrepancies.
  • Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
  • Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Load daily pick up.
  • Process shipment documents using ERP/TMS for UPS and LTL.
  • Process inventory location transfers in ERP system.
  • Look up locations in ERP system for current location.
  • Back up Warehouse Manager as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to read and analyze Information.
  • Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of inventory control.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Computer experience along with data entry skills.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior manufacturing experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Previous stock or inventory experience is a plus.
  • Previous Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift fifty pounds at a time.
  • Position may perform bending, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, squatting, and twisting daily up to 8 hours or more a day.
  • PPE is required.
