Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse operations. This includes overseeing the receiving, storing, and shipping of products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and managing a team of warehouse associates. Your role is pivotal in maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality within the warehouse.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of product/materials.
  • Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled and enters on handhelds.
  • Learn data entry for Shipping Clerk position and Fulfillment Workbench.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and accountability of expected work for employees.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and accuracy through monitoring of stock levels and conducting regular physical counts.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse premises.
  • Coordinate and oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, QC and sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance, such as productivity metrics, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving discrepancies.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and safety guidelines while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, or crawl
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or push 50lbs, at times may be asked to lift more
  • Environment is non-climate controlled
  • Production floor is typically loud
  • Must wear all required PPE
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required, including occasional overtime, weekends and evenings.
