POSITION SUMMARY


As a Retail Supervisor at Sunrise Dispensary - Agri-Genesis, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to inspire and guide a team of over 10 employees.

Your role will be pivotal in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that Sunrise stands out as the premier dispensary.

The Retail Supervisor is expected to possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to high customer service standards, along with effective conflict resolution skills.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


- Engage directly with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

- Assist in the development of purchase requisitions and manage supplier relationships.

- Oversee the procurement process, including curating product assortments based on both historical and current performance metrics.

- Analyze business operations and manage inventory flow efficiently.

- Process purchase orders and liaise with vendors regarding deliveries and follow-ups.

- Coordinate with inventory management, leadership, and warehouses as necessary.

- Collaborate with Marketing, the Regional Product Analyst, and the Allocation team to align with product launch strategies and promotional initiatives.

- Formulate and implement strategies aimed at business growth.

- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to safeguard profit margins and support promotional efforts.

- Identify avenues to enhance sales and profit margins to optimize business performance.

- Conduct regular reviews of business performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, developing suitable initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS


- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.

- Previous experience in purchasing is preferred.

- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while interacting with diverse personalities across various levels of seniority.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.

- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

- Strong business acumen, professionalism, and interpersonal skills to engage with all management levels.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions accurately.

- Physical and mental capabilities necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

- Valid driver's license required.

- Willingness to travel domestically.

- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is mandatory.

- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.

- Ability to see and hear or utilize prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately for job requirements.

- Must function independently, demonstrating flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

- Capacity to relate to and assist individuals who may be ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally distressed, or at times, hostile.

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move a minimum of 25 lbs.

- Ability to work in seated or standing positions as required for extended periods, maintaining balance while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

- Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details.

- Must be able to communicate verbally at a conversational level with colleagues and vendors.

- Flexibility to work up to 45+ hours weekly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.


EDUCATION


- An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.

- A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

- Pay: $16.00 per hour
