What's your day like?

As an Assisted Living/Memory Care Caregiver at Aqua Ridge Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to our residents. Your day-to-day tasks will include helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. You will also assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation. In this role, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

You will be expected to actively engage with residents, offering companionship and emotional support. Additionally, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential in this position, as you will be responsible for documenting care provided and ensuring that residents' needs are met. Requirements for this Assisted Living/Memory Care Caregiver job

To be successful as an Assisted Living/Memory Care Caregiver at Aqua Ridge Senior Living, several skills are necessary. First and foremost, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with residents, their families, and the healthcare team on a daily basis. Compassion and empathy are also crucial attributes, as you will be providing care and emotional support to seniors. In terms of technical skills, proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred, as you will be responsible for documenting care provided and updating resident information.

Additionally, knowledge of basic computer applications like Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial. Time management and organizational skills are important to effectively prioritize tasks and ensure that residents' needs are met in a timely manner. Being detail-oriented is essential for accurately documenting care and monitoring residents' health. Lastly, the ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment is key.
