Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring that all orders are packed, labeled, and ready for dispatch according to company standards.
- Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to arrange timely pickups and deliveries, optimizing shipping schedules to meet customer demands.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels, ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by recording shipments and updating inventory management systems, reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products prior to shipping to ensure they meet quality standards, and address any issues that may arise during the packing process.
- Warehouse Organization: Help maintain an organized and efficient shipping area, ensuring that all shipping supplies are stocked and equipment is properly maintained.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is a plus.
