The Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers and creating sales-ready leads. Your main goal will be to support the sales team by generating interest in Sway' services and qualifying leads that will turn into opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Lead and execute sales strategies to identify, qualify, and engage potential clients. Utilize a variety of channels, including phone, email, and social media, to build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Email Marketing Management: Design and manage email marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This includes audience segmentation, crafting compelling messages, A/B testing, and analyzing campaign performance to drive improvements.
- Outreach Campaign Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement outreach campaigns that effectively reach target audiences and achieve engagement goals. This involves creative input, strategic planning, and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Business Development to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SDR team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities, campaign performance, and market trends. Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to track engagements and analyze data, turning insights into actionable strategies.
Requirements

- Ability to manage email marketing campaigns, including familiarity with email marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to formulate new outreach campaigns and messaging.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role (SaaS or logistics industry experience is a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and quotas
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience with outbound prospecting and cold calling is a plus
