Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAlderson Loop is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a global electronics and technology insurance company. The Financial Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in leading financial reporting efforts for the corporate stores line of business. This role entails overseeing complex financial statements rollup across all locations and products, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and providing leadership to a team of professionals. Experience with small business/franchise accounting is advantageous, while familiarity with DAX is considered a plus but not mandatory.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead financial reporting across all Corporate Stores locations and products.
• Oversee the complex rollup of corporate stores' domestic and international financial statements.
• Manage key areas of the traditional controllership function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.
• Supervise and coach a team of professionals, including overseas employees, to accomplish team goals and deliver high-quality financial reporting.
• Utilize relationships and insights to drive innovation and influence outcomes, fostering an inclusive and customer-centric environment.
• Accurately manage program settlements and ensure correct accounting across the balance sheet.
• Lead accounting and reporting processes from end-to-end, driving strategic change initiatives and delivering significant results.
• Foster an inclusive environment where team members are empowered to excel and contribute innovative ideas.Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• CPA Certification or MBA preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and OneStream is advantageous.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Big picture thinker with meticulous attention to quality results.
• Continuous learner with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, able to act autonomously with little direction.
• Experience in effectively leading teams and driving change initiatives.
