What do our Field Service Technicians Do?

You'll be the face of our company, troubleshooting and commissioning our cutting-edge machines at customer sites. Build lasting relationships, ensure top-notch quality, and embrace the thrill of hands-on work. Before you hit the road, you'll master our product specifications during a generous in-house training process to learn how to:

- Troubleshoot various electrical problems

- Recognize and report quality issues

- Calibrate our products for the customer

- Test products at power levels up to 600VAC 3-phase and 2000VDC

- Record data, write reports, and process paperwork accurately

Don't worry, we provide generous in-house training prior to visiting our customers. Once fully trained, you'll travel (up to 50% of your time) to customer sites to service or commission our machines. As a self-starter, you'll manage your own schedule, making flights and driving to locations across the USA and abroad. You'll be the face of Bitrode, delivering professional service with every interaction.

The Field Service Technician opportunity has a negotiable start rate of $26.00/hour based on experience and the ability to enjoy additional travel premiums during service trips.

Additional qualifications for this role:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for service calls (travel up to 50% of the time)
  • Minimum of a two-year degree in Electrical Engineering or similar electrical knowledge
  • Schematic reading and knowledge of electrical/electronic circuitry is essential
  • Previous knowledge and experience with multimeters, voltmeters, HiPot test equipment, and oscilloscope preferred
  • Ability to use shop and hand tools to work on equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues via email, phone, and onsite

Any experience in electrical product testing would be amazing

The position will be based in St. Louis, MO.
