We are currently searching for a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our team.

Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

What is a Shipping Clerk?

A shipping clerk is responsible for managing the shipment of goods from one place to another. They coordinate with various parties, such as suppliers, carriers, and customers, to ensure that shipments are processed efficiently and delivered on time. Shipping clerks also track shipments, maintain shipping records, and handle any issues that may arise during the shipping process. Additionally, they may be responsible for ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and maintaining inventory levels.

In this role, you will:

Determine method of shipment, via portals, and routing guidelines

Affix shipping labels on packed cartons and verify shipping information

Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications

Inventory control - perform cycle counts and reconciliations

Perform all necessary computer transactions

Operate weight scale and digital counter

Examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages

Route items to departments

Track PRO part numbers of incoming and outgoing movements

To succeed in this role, you must:

Be a certified forklift operator

Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds

Have ability to train, communicate, and work with others

Display ethical behavior and acts with integrity

Have good attendance history

Have at least 2-3 years' experience in shipping

Have ability to change and adapt to urgent timelines

Have ability to thrive in a fast- pace environment

Have knowledge of using a computer

We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently. We are also willing to train the correct individuals

• CNC turret punches (20 to 35 tons)
• Lasers (Up to 4000 Watts 60x120 sheet size)
• CNC press brakes (45 to 185 tons)
• Punch presses (Progressive and Staged Tooling) (45 to 250 tons)
• Resistance welders (75 KVA to 250 KVA)
• Robotic Weld Cell
• Tig, Mig, Plasma and Pulse Arc welding
