Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing material adheres to quality inspection standards in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all incoming and outgoing material adheres to quality inspection standards in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Assists in shipping & receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated holding/storage area.
  • Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for customer/employee traffic

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Must have experience in stocking, packaging, and shipping material

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be flexible to work any shift
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be efficient with a desire to succeed
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Position requires standing for the majority of the work hours
  • Ability to operate forklift

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.
