MAHUBE-OTWA is actively recruiting a Family Health Manager for Family Health programs. We are seeking a passionate individual with excellent leadership and supervisory skills to assist with ongoing development and growth of our Family Health programs. With a focus on providing reproductive services for all, the Family Health Manager is responsible for management and administration of the Family Health programs as well as providing health care education, nursing services, screenings, and laboratory tests in a clinic setting and promoting the wellbeing of the patients.

  • Pay: $32.28 - $35.30
  • Schedule: Full Time, Option for 32 hours/week or 40 hours/week

Requirements:

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required as well as 3 years related experience including supervision. Experience with reproductive health strongly preferred. Must have current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working as staff nurse and providing basic health care information to patients and writing routine medical reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent working knowledge of community health issues, community organizations, services available to clients and referral sources. Must understand mandated reporting laws.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with and between funders, community partners and others.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to motivate, lead, and develop a team.
  • Knowledge and experience working with low-income and diverse populations.
  • Ability to develop, write and implement grant applications, including program budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, process, analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to handle fast paced clinic schedules.
  • Strong reasoning abilities to understand regulations and funder mandates.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook(email), virtual connectivity, and Agency specific software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to read and write medical terminology proficiently. Ability to interpret documents such as medical orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, proportions and percentages, circumference, and volume.
  • Must honor confidential information and comply with HIPAA regulations. Must understand and comply with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to locations within agency service area.
  • Attain Certified Community Action Professional credential within 5 years from start date.
  • Background clearance required.
