We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Web Designer to join our growing team as Freelancer with an opportunity to group, remote basis (up to 5-10 hours per week, with potential for growth). This role will collaborate with stakeholders to create visually appealing, user-centric web designs while maintaining high standards of usability and accessibility. As a senior member of the team, you will bring advanced design and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of web design and branding principles.

Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in web design, branding, illustrations, wireframes, and art direction.
- Client-facing experience: Ability to confidently collaborate with clients and manage their needs effectively.
- Language: Must possess advanced English skills, both written and verbal.
- Remote position: Flexibility to work remotely, with a commitment of up to 20 hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours based on performance and project needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand goals, objectives, and user needs for each project, applying user-centered design principles.
- Content analysis: Evaluate and organize written text on each page, considering information architecture, content strategy, and visual hierarchy.
- Design intuitive layouts: Create user-friendly page layouts that balance content, visuals, and optimal user experience, with a strong focus on responsive, mobile-first design principles.
- Develop visually appealing designs: Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and utilize consistent design systems, maintaining high standards of aesthetics across all pages.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance: Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility guidelines, delivering inclusive and accessible user experiences.
- Design iteration and feedback: Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder and team feedback, striving for the best possible outcomes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with development, content, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery by providing web-optimized assets that are easy for developers to implement. You’ll need to understand and select the best asset formats for various purposes, ensuring efficiency and quality in execution.

Benefits
This is a freelance position to start with around 5-10 hours of work per week available. If we are a good mutual fit for one another, there is also the opportunity to grow into a part time or full time employment contract (telecommute, full benefits like 401(k) matching, vision, dental, life insurance, PTO and flexible time off etc.).
