Job Summary:

CDK Global is seeking a UX Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating designs based on insights and product direction to support the UX team and the business efficiently.

The UX Designer will support the execution of design strategies to improve user experience and overall product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct UX design activities and contribute to the gathering and analysis of user insights
  • Plan and conduct UX design studies to gather user insights that inform product decisions
  • Work collaboratively with team members to conduct design work and analyze findings
  • Deliver high-quality design solutions with a clear focus on user needs and UX design best practices
  • Maintain an accurate and current understanding of active UX design projects while managing own design workload
  • Collaborate with and support fellow designers in their professional development
  • Utilize design processes, tools, and techniques aligned with industry best practices
  • Support user-centered design principles in all design activities
  • Conduct design activities ethically and adhere to applicable regulations and standards
  • Report on design activities and findings to senior team members and stakeholders
  • Support the alignment of design activities with business objectives and product strategy
  • Utilize innovative design methodologies and practices in design activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design activities and solutions
  • Follow industry trends and contribute to the application of new technologies in design
  • Support stakeholder engagement by communicating design insights and their value
  • Communicate design solutions to stakeholders under the guidance of senior team members
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions with design insights
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill development opportunities provided by the team
  • Participate in activities that promote continuous learning and improvement
  • Utilize allocated resources effectively in design projects

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in UX design
  • Experience in conducting UX design activities and delivering user-centered solutions
  • Knowledge of UX design principles and the ability to apply them effectively
  • Experience in supporting design efforts that contribute to business outcomes
  • Share design insights within the team and with stakeholders to increase understanding of user needs
  • Ability to communicate design solutions that demonstrate value to stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt design activities to changing circumstances and project requirements
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to support design initiatives
  • Examples of design work and the resulting solutions, with the ability to articulate the design narrative
  • Experience participating in training programs and continuous learning opportunities
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Effective communication skills for presenting design solutions
  • Effective in planning and conducting design activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting design data

Compensation:

$85,000 - $115,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
