Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDo you prefer working overnights and want a rewarding and meaningful job?  The Meadows of Wadena is seeking applicants for Overnight Resident Assistant.  If you want to bring joy to the lives of seniors and strive to provide them with exceptional care, then we want to hear from you  Experience not necessary, we will provide all the training and support you need to be a successful and valuable member of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with personal cares as scheduled.
  • Performing housekeeping duties.
  • Observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition.
  • Passing medications and supervising resident self-administration. 
Shifts/Hours:
  • 10p – 6a, 6 days bi-weekly, including every other weekend.
Pay Rate: $17.28 - $19.78

- +$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications

- Shift differentials for afternoons, overnights, and weekends

- Benefits include paid time off and our 403b retirement plan which allows you to begin your contributions immediately upon hire.

-Tuition reimbursement available for new CNA and TMA certifications, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing.

Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals who have a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.

Successful candidates must have strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, dependability, and flexibility.

Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed and respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents.

Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota.
