Terra Green is a full-service landscape company that is driven by its mission and core values. In order to better fulfill their mission, the company is in search for a highly motivated worker interested in being a member of the landscape maintenance team. This department is responsible for maintaining the grounds of commercial and residential properties in and around the Charlotte region.
This position is responsible for leading a crew of fellow team members in providing quality landscape maintenance services to our clients. In addition to leading the crew, the incumbent will operate at times power equipment such as commercial grade mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, pruners, etc. A minimum of one year experience is required. This is a full-time permanent position.
- Lead and motivate 2-5 member landscape maintenance crews while delivering high quality landscapes
- Assign individual responsibilities to fellow crew members
- Manage projected budgeted hours and quality standards for assigned properties
- Oversee maintenance of assigned commercial and residential properties in a timely manner
- Train crew members on a continuous basis
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Ensure that all crew members follow safety rules regulations at all times
- Ensure the proper and safe use of applications of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals according to safety regulations
- Communicate in a timely manager with both manager and crew members
- Ensure a clean and safe worksite for both employees and clients
- Properly maintain assigned vehicle and equipment (both interior and exterior) to company standards
- Send picture updates daily and in a timely manner to manager and corresponding Client Relationship Manager
- Properly clock crew in and out using time-tracking software
- 1+ years of experience (2+ landscaping)
- General landscape knowledge
- Basic planting knowledge
- Critical thinking and Decision-making skills
- Bilingual Preferred, but not required
- Ability to send pictures and emails from a device
- Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
- Ability to oversee landscape maintenance in a timely fashion
- Ability to load and unload equipment on to trucks
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Enjoy work outdoors
- Have good work ethic
- Strong drive and will to succeed
- Have a teamwork mindset and ability to motivate others
- Submit to Drug Test, Background Check
- Have a valid driver’s license
