The Homesteaders Marketing & Communications department is looking for an energetic team player who is creative and success oriented. If you have three to five years of experience working in a marketing department or advertising agency environment, with a focus on campaign development and execution of digital and traditional marketing activities, this could be the opportunity for you


In this role, you will use your organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. A proven track record of content creation and social media management is critical to this role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.


With an emphasis on content and campaign development, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work with sales, customer service and information services to ensure we have the programs, assets and systems in place to help the company measure and increase the speed at which it transitions leads into loyal, profitable customers.

Requirements:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or a related field

· Three+ years of professional experience in a marketing and/or sales environment combined with significant use of technology solutions to accomplish duties

· Writing/editing skills, with the ability to modify writing style for purpose and audience

· Comprehensive knowledge of marketing concepts, practices and procedures

· Demonstrated experience working with social media marketing and advertising

· Creativity relative to marketing communications, campaigns, methods and tools

· Demonstrated understanding of and/or proficiency using the following applications and utilities:

o HubSpot Customer Platform (with emphasis on Marketing & CMS Hubs)

o Website builder platforms

o Microsoft Office products (Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

o CRM applications such as InforCRM (formerly SalesLogix), SalesForce, or Hubspot CRM

o Some database experience preferred

· Working knowledge of Adobe CC applications such as InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
