Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Front Desk Representative to fill an opening with a well-established medical facility located in Brooklyn, New York.

Responsibilities of the Front Desk Representative:

  • Welcome and greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide assistance or direct to the appropriate staff member
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Collect patient information and verify insurance eligibility
  • Handle patient registration and check-in procedures
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Manage and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Customer-focused and detail-oriented mindset
