About the Role

Finfare is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Advisory Manager to join our dynamic team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of the compliance department, the Compliance Advisory Manager will take primary responsibility for working with and advising business and product owners on compliance requirements related to Finfare's regulated financial product businesses. The position requires extensive knowledge and experience across a wide array of regulatory compliance subjects including deposit products and services, digital compliance, treasury services, commercial and consumer credit. Candidates with fintech experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist business owners in onboarding and overseeing vendor relationships and conducting due diligence as needed.
• Help in onboarding of financial institution partnerships and in developing and implementing needed artifacts such as policies, procedures, and processes.
• Assist Product, Operations, and other business partners in implementing compliance requirements and controls.
• Implement and maintain change control procedures to ensure that all changes are compliant with all relevant regulations.
• Work closely with internal partners in an advisory role to help business initiatives go to market timely.
• Partner with Risk, Legal, Product, and Engineering to build or integrate compliance tooling to increase operational efficiency.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to document processes, escalations, trainings, and updates.
• Work with bank partners to help Finfare obtain approval on ongoing business initiatives.
• Ensure that all compliance regulations are met and all questions are answered in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation for independent audit reviews, compliance monitoring and testing activities, and regulatory examinations and inquiries.
• Assist other members of the Compliance department as needed.
• Serve as a designated company subject expert for assigned laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 7+ years experience in regulatory Compliance role within the banking and fintech industries.
• Experience with laws and regulations including but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC, Reg D, Reg DD, Reg CC, Reg E, Reg Z, FCRA, Reg B, FTC Act, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and others.
• Professional certifications such as CIPP, CRCM, or ACAMS are highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively navigate complex and ambiguous scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to understand complex concepts and provide innovative solutions to challenges.
• Prior fintech experience or a partner bank experience is highly desirable.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $150k - $180k (Depending on experience)
