Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with various departments to gather and analyze financial data and prepare financial plans.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Manage and oversee financial audits, working with external auditors to ensure compliance and address any findings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis, including providing data and insights for decision-making.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure that financial operations are aligned with current standards and regulations.
  • Oversee financial systems and software, ensuring they are used effectively and efficiently to support financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and a solid understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively across departments and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
