Job Title: Store Manager

Position Overview

Join our team at Wedding Day Diamonds and take on a high-profile leadership role that drives the overall success of our store. As a results-oriented leader with a passion for the jewelry industry, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.  

The Store Manager is responsible for the store’s overall direction, coordination, operation, and success. The Store Manager will ensure the store meets or exceeds financial goals, while providing remarkable leadership in areas of customer service, team member relations, sales, and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team of client advocates.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing training to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and personal growth.

Sales and Customer Service

  • Drive sales performance by achieving sales targets, and actively participating in selling activities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the store’s product offerings and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving client inquires, handling escalated issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Store Operations and Visual Merchandising

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, daily inspections, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including cash handling and store opening/closing procedures.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Present store performance, trends, areas of opportunity to leadership team regularly and collaborate on strategies to drive long-term growth for their store and company.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and achieve financial targets.

Relationship Building and Networking

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, local community organizations, and industry professionals.
  • Actively participate in local events and networking opportunities to promote the store and increase brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • HS graduate or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail or hospitality industries.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • 3+ years managing sales targets.
  • Experience providing high-end customer service and managing customer concerns.
  • Track record of success in a performance- driven work environment.
  • Excellent interviewing skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and climb.
  • Proven ability to collaboratively develop and implement new sales strategies.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Jewelry and Diamond experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing 3M+ in top live revenue preferred, but not required.
