We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join a growing startup's team on a contract basis We are searching for a skilled individual to drive our procurement processes and ensure the efficient sourcing of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Create and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's objectives and budget requirements.

  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

  • Vendor Selection: Identify and evaluate potential vendors, conduct vendor assessments, and make recommendations based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.

  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, review terms and conditions, and finalize agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.

  • Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock availability, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. Demonstrated success in sourcing and negotiating contracts.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Certification in procurement or CSCP is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.

    • Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Detail-oriented and organized.

    • Proactive and results-driven.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
