The Maintenance Laborer / Groundskeeper will:

Symphony Care Network is looking for someone to support our maintenance team with their skills and talent to achieve new levels of customer service for our residents/guests. Our residents/guest needs are a high priority. Our maintenance staff is the key to making all that possible by doing the following:

  • Take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor in general maintenance and repair of the building and grounds.
  • Work hours are at least 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. There is a rotating schedule for weekends and on call duties, i.e. snow removal.
  • Work requirements may be extended depending on circumstances such as assisting with state inspections, special projects, etc.
  • Ground maintenance work includes the cutting of grass, weeds and planting of flowers, picking up trash and litter and other ground maintenance work. Work involves the operation and maintenance of equipment and hand tools, and may require lifting and sustained physical effort.
Requirements:

The Maintenance laborer / Groundskeeper must have the following: ·

  • Previously related work experience and minimal education of high school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Must have a good driving record valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
  • Must have a pleasant and positive personality.
  • Maintain a clear and well-groomed appearance. Dependable and safety conscious.

The Maintenance laborer / Groundskeeper Role Requirements:

  • Reliable and Prompt
  • Weekend & Holiday Availability
  • Provide a physical/essential functions test or fit for duty physical,
  • Provide prior employer references.
  • Submit to a criminal/fingerprint background check that provides eligibility per LARA.
