The Dining Services Coordinator helps maintain the department's smooth day-to-day operations by providing administrative and operational support, serving as a bridge between team members, management, and other departments.

What you’ll do

Administrative:

  • Provide administrative support to department staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and travel arrangements.
  • Oversee departmental processes and workflows, proactively identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Prepare and compile reports and presentations as required.
  • Support Point of Sale software operations
  • Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures, including manuals and standards documentation.
  • Coordinate the procurement and management of office supplies and equipment.
  • Review departmental tracking, revenue, and billing accuracy.

Operations:

  • Assist in orchestrating catering events across the company.
  • Coordinate special promotions for Brio Dining Services
  • Aid in training initiatives for team members and contribute to the implementation of departmental programs and standards.

What it takes

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of administrative experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation principles, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
