Senior SCADA Software Engineer
Our client is a leading electrical testing, engineering, controls, and automation company seeking a Senior SCADA Software Engineer. They offer excellent benefits, training, and career advancement opportunities.
What Do You Need For This Great Opportunity?
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer/Information Science, or related field, or 5 years of field experience.
- Field service experience with Rockwell Factory Talk, Tridium, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Ignition, Eaton Networks, and related software.
- Minimum 3 years in system integration as a team lead or technical project manager.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, and SQL databases.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects, track schedules, and meet customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of MQTT-Sequel Server-Ignition core protocols.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, control diagrams, electrical theory, chiller control circuits, and HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DDC, HMI, and related components.
- Ignition certification and experience in mission-critical infrastructure are a plus.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus and Modbus-TCP.
Day – to – Day Tasks
- Provide high-level technical service, including engineering support and system controls design.
- Assist in developing efficient SCADA controls design and system solutions.
- Develop and document SCADA and PLC programs; configure desktop and server hardware and operating systems.
- Design and integrate wired and wireless data networks.
- Update company standards and ensure quality control in projects.
- Implement system deployments, validations, and troubleshooting.
- Write detailed reports on jobsite milestones and maintain client relationships.
- Coordinate projects internally and externally to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
