Description for Senior Electrical Engineer - Controls:

Our client is a single source solutions co. with 50 years exp. providing custom-engineered solutions for agricultural and industrial processes which includes automation software upgrades, micro ingredient batching systems, minor/major ingredient batching systems, material weighing systems, bulk bag filling and unloading systems, complete process systems, liquid handling, and data management solutions for specific applications, kitchen batching systems, and remote supervisory control software.

Responsibilities for Senior Electrical Engineer - Controls:

This position Designs, Manages, and Executes material handling plant automation projects from estimating through engineering and installation/commissioning with an emphasis on Electrical Design and Controls aspects of the project.


Requirements for Senior Electrical Engineer - Controls:

  • BSEE or related field or equiv. experience and 8+ years’ experience.
  • Control panel design
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley Hardware (PLC’s, VFD’s, SoftStarts, HMI’s, etc.).
  • Experience with Rockwell Software products (FactoryTalk View, Logic Designer, CCW).
  • Experience with Industrial Controls, Material Handling Systems, and Plant Automation preferably from an OEM Machine Builder or Systems Integrator perspective.
  • Expected to become UL 508A Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR)
  • E-Plan and DraftSight (or AutoCAD) software.
  • 20-25% travel
