Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Recording Financial Transactions:
    • Maintain meticulous records of all financial activities, including sales, purchases, income, and payments.
    • Ensure accuracy in the general ledger by posting transactions correctly.
    • Reconcile reports with third-party records such as bank statements.
  2. Financial Reporting: 
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
    • Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other relevant financial statements.
    • Assist in budget preparations.
  3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Process accounts payable (vendor invoices) and accounts receivable (customer invoices).
    • Manage invoices and tax payments promptly.
  4. Compliance and Audits:
    • Adhere to all legal requirements by staying informed about regulations.
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual balance audits.
  5. Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
    • Participate in relevant professional societies.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Finance (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses).
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages such as FreshBooks, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
