Cad/Cam Technician and Scanner


The primary function of the CAD/Cam Operator is downloading and analyzing all incoming IOS cases.


Schedule: Full time 40 hours Monday-Friday


Compensation: Entry Level $20-$22 an hour

Essential Functions

  • Scan all incoming cases for posteriors, anteriors, DX and implant cases in preparation for design.
  • Download digital scans and prescriptions.
  • Read and interpret Doctor's prescription forms to design porcelain restorations.
  • Perform Data Entry functions for digital files.
  • Upload files for fabrication.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic and professionalism at all times.
  • Operate CAD / CAM equipment such as milling machines and sintering ovens.
  • Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the CAD / CAM room.
  • Represent the company and department in a positive and supportive manner at all times.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Requirements:

Education & Experience

Required

  • Ability to learn CAD/CAM experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with different levels of staff
  • Able to learn / understand dental anatomy and terminology.
  • Critical thinker
  • Ability to establish and maintain moderately complex documentation systems.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality.

  • High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines.
