Role Description:

Brandlive’s creative arm Brandlive Studios (BLS) is a creative collective of designers, animators, producers, storytellers, filmmakers, directors, and more, who make content for our clients and Brandlive.
The role of the Motion Designer  involves creating and executing motion graphics and animation for various use cases and event graphics, while ensuring brand consistency and integrating feedback. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization & Design: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute motion design projects from start to finish.
  • Animation: Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for various media platforms, including digital ads, social media content, web videos, and broadcast. From mood boards, story boards, style frames through finished motion edit.
  • Show Graphics Package: Develop cohesive graphics packages that align with the client or event brand, catering to the various needs of the show. This includes creating intro videos, show bugs, segment cards, walk-ups, transitions, outros, and more.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Work with video editing software to integrate motion graphics into video footage. 
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all motion designs are aligned with the brand's visual identity and guidelines.
  • Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine animations and achieve the desired results.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain motion graphic assets and project files for easy access and reuse.
  • Content Strategy Contribution: Partner with content and marketing teams to identify new content opportunities and contribute to overall content strategy.
  • 3rd Party Tools: Demonstrate knowledge of third-party tools, including After Effects and Premiere plugins and effects, and a willingness to explore generative AI tools for B-roll, toolkits, etc.
  • Brandlive Platform Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of Greenroom and stay up-to-date with the latest features to assist with product marketing videos.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your animation and design skills. Familiarity with video production workflows and techniques 
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in the following but not limited to :  Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant motion design software. Knowledge of 3D motion tools a plus. Explorations in Generative AI a plus.
  • Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Collaboration: You are a collaboration Ninja and can seamlessly navigate between teams, projects, and coffee breaks, making sure everyone’s on the same page. You have the ability to work with different personalities to meet the needs of both our clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Figma for gathering project information (fonts, styles, storyboards) and using SyncSketch, Frame.io, or Vimeo for content review. 
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all designs are polished and professional.
  • Time Management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Work closely with Creative Producers and Coordinators to scope out jobs
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts effectively. 
  • File management : Understanding the importance of it, being meticulous with file naming and with keeping cloud folders up to date. 
  • Adaptable: You have a can-do agile attitude through various tasks and needs of the business.
  • Personal Development: The desire to learn and grow.
