Responsibilities

  • This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.
  • Owning the assessment of all resumes submitted for your specific hiring roles and ensuring that you are recruiting Top Talent for all UWM Teams.
  • Reviewing resumes for requirements, conducting phone interviews, delivering all resumes and phone screen notes to hiring leaders to review for steps moving forward, administer assessments for specific roles that are required to do so, drafting new hire paperwork and working with the teams coordinator to get the offer letters out and ensure our candidates have an Elite hiring experience.
  • Identify and use creative sourcing techniques when necessary for locating the right candidates; and networking at various types of events to attract passive candidates.
  • High sense of urgency
  • Support recruiting through the use of campus relations and other partnerships when necessary
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders and provide consistent and speedy updates on open roles
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the brand of UWM ensure each candidate is a culture fit and technical fit for the roles being hired for
  • Ensuring you are building a relationship with each candidate you speak with as this is key in our business for every team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience (either 3rd party agency or Corporate Recruiting)
  • 1+ years of experience hiring for roles within Application Development (Software Developers, QA, BA, SCRUM, etc)
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, taking a candidate from the application stage to the offer process
  • Very comfortable discerning information received from candidate interviews and making a confident decision in your hiring process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong ability to be adaptable and open to all changes when needed
  • Familiar with CMS software, candidate assessments, behavioral and skill based interviews
  • Associates degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent experience
