Position Summary: The .NET Core Architect is responsible for the structural design and development of new software systems or extensive software revisions for external customers. This role involves analyzing software requirements, defining system components, designing, and implementing efficient and scalable software architectures, and ensuring compatibility with existing systems. The .NET Core Architect will create and maintain architecture documentation, work closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs, and provide guidance on best practices for .NET solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for customers.
  • Create application architectures that meet user requirements, business objectives, and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with software developers, customers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide guidance to ITB on best practices for developing .NET solutions.
  • Offer recommendations for optimizing existing processes and provide additional systems support and development as required.
  • Design and develop software applications using MVC and .NET Core frameworks.
  • Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), C#, ASP.NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Use SQL Server database design and development concepts, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Integrate SQL Server and Oracle data sources using data transfer tools such as SSIS.
  • Utilize on-premise or FEDRAMP-certified cloud-based wireframe tools (e.g., AdobeXD, Figma) to build high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Conduct testing of sample applications and software to assess user experience and design ease.
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and accurately convey project plans to clients and senior management.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, ensuring application responsiveness.
  • Design website or product aesthetics, including layout menus, drop-down options, colors, and fonts, allowing for interface edits as needed.
  • Analyze customer responses and application data to improve high-traffic web pages.
  • Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces.
  • Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in software architecture and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS, API integration, and cloud-based architecture.
  • Proficiency in various development programming languages such as C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, SQL, SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT, SVN, Mercurial, and frameworks such as MEAN, Django, LAMP, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver software products using functional specifications.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and efficient software architectures.
  • Experience with database design and integration, including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Ability to create and maintain architecture documentation and design specifications.
