Quality Control Technician

- Conduct inspections and tests on civil, structural, and architectural components to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and design documents to understand quality requirements.
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformance issues and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Perform routine and special inspections of materials, work processes, and finished products.
- Ensure that all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in quality control meetings and provide input on quality improvement initiatives.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., construction technology, civil engineering, architecture).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality control within construction projects, with a focus on CSA components.
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural design principles and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Quality Control or related field (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Construction Quality Assurance).
- Experience with construction quality management software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for civil, structural, and architectural work.
